Open the apps on your car display
Look for Google Play or an app store on the car display itself, without connecting your phone.
Radio for Android in the car
Looking for a radio app for your Android-powered car? RoadCast lets you browse and play internet radio on the car display. Check which Android system your car has first.
Compatibility
You do not need to know the technical name of your car’s system. These clues help you recognise it.
Look for Google Play or an app store on the car display itself, without connecting your phone.
If you can install apps directly in the car, it may use Android Automotive OS.
Search for RoadCast in the car’s app store. If it is offered for your vehicle, install it there.
An Android phone connected to the car is not enough: RoadCast is made for the car’s built-in Android Automotive OS.
Two different systems
The names sound similar, but the place where apps run is different.
Android runs in the car itself. You install apps on the car display. RoadCast is designed for this system.
Apps run on your phone and appear on the car display through a connection. RoadCast does not currently support Android Auto.
Not sure? If you must connect your phone to use Android apps on the display, you are probably using Android Auto.
Start listening
RoadCast is a simple live radio app for supported cars with Android Automotive OS.
